Manhattan coffee roasters x Thank you mama

Yesterday, I visited a cupping at Thank You Mama in Anjusha.
Cupping was conducted by Manhattan Coffee Roasters - a roasting company from Rotterdam, founded by champions Ben Morrow and Esther Maasdam. The guys work on Typhoon and Probat roasters and are known for their attention to rare lots and coffee for championships.
There were about twenty lots of different levels on the table: from more basic to gesha and experimental processing. I especially liked that the cupping was led by Ilithyia Meriën - the current champion of the Netherlands in cup testing.
Among the more classic lots, I liked Rwanda. Very clean and clear: dried fruits, black tea, rosehip.
Columbian fermented was also good, but the most interesting lot for me was the gesha with co-fermentation with hops. In the cup, it turned out to be very unusual: a lot of elderberry, white flowers and some almost perfumery floral notes.
