Tomato Harvest x Campo Culture

If you spent your childhood in the village, picking vegetables and fruits from the bush, rolling in the hay in the shade of trees and collecting wildflowers, then this place is for you.
Campo Culture farm is located near Sesimbra - it's a bit hard to get there without a car. But it's absolutely worth it!
We visited an event, a tomato harvest festival. The farm has about 20 varieties of tomatoes, the farm owner Andy told his story, the secrets of growing different crops, and also conducted a tasting of tomatoes - so juicy, sweet and delicious, I haven't tried them in a long time! Plus, you can just walk around the farm, past the beds and eat everything. A popular entertainment here is to come to the farm to pick strawberries. You take a box and pick it yourself, then pay.
I really liked it. Firstly, how everything looks beautiful and careless, secondly, that there were familiar faces at the food court - Vadim with his first-class desserts, Chuuus with a shawarma, girls with natural wines. At each stand, there were some tomato specialties - gazpacho, tomato sauces, tomato kombucha, and at Vadim's, a mousse dessert with basil financiers and tomato jam.
I walked around with scissors and collected a bouquet from the fields!
It's great that such projects exist, they are based on labor, the desire to get out of the clutches of capitalism and create their own, more humane approach to the product and place. We approve of this, and when the guys open a restaurant with a farm-to-table concept, I'll definitely come to try it. R. 25 de Abril
